Bituminous Liquid Waterproofing

1. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
– The surface of the underground walls must be stable, clean and free of loose objects. Pins and mourelatos cut within a 3 cm depth are repaired, including any possible concrete nests, using the mortar repair DOMOREPAIR R3.
– Construction joints cementing stops are opened in the form of a V, at a depth of 3 cm and filled with mortar repair DOMOREPAIR R3. In the compound of the floor and the vertical elements, a smoothing gully is created with DOMOREPAIR R4 mortar repair or with a reinforced cement construction resin for higher demands, DOMORESIN SP.

– PRIMING

Application of a Primer layer elastomeric bituminous aqueous base lacquer SOPRAKOTE, diluted with 50% water. (0,3 L/m²). Alternatively, SOPRAMUR LATEX is proposed.

– APPLICATION

Then, two crosswise layers of SOPRAKOTE (0,6 L/m²/layer) are applyied. Alternatively, SORPAMUR LATEX is proposed.

–  PROTECTION

Placement of the HDPE egg casket, PROTECDRAIN, as a protection of the waterproofing layer from the impending embankment and as a drainage layer. PROTECDRAIN is mechanically bond above the waterproofing sealing with metal support. The earth backfill is recommended to be done step by step.
